Here it is the 1st of November and that means that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. The plans for the annual Greer County Thanksgiving Dinner are once again starting. The meal will be held at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall in Mangum on Thanksgiving Day. There will be turkey, ham, cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, corn, gravy, rolls, cranberry sauce plus drinks and pie. Once again we will be delivering meals throughout the county on Thanksgiving Day or you are welcome to come to the Parish Hall and eat. Monetary donations may be made at the 1st National Bank at either Granite or Mangum. Cornbread is always welcome and we need it at the Hall by Tuesday, November 22. If you would like to have a meal delivered please call Glynadee Edwards at 471-0076. If you have questions, please feel free to call Glynadee.
